Gina Wilhelm Actress - Bo Derek Honored for her Work with Veterans
Bo Derek, the star of "10," was honored for her work on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
She has been the honorary chair of VA's National Rehabilitation Special Events since 2000.
Her work there was to encourage veterans to use the VA's rehabilitative services, improve public understanding of the program, and visiting Veterans Affairs medical centers.
She's also participated in several USO tours and worked with the Special Forces Association.
The Special Forces Association named Derek an honorary Green Beret.
