Amy Adams' new movie "Leap Year" opens on Friday. While promoting the movie, Adams revealed "I'm taking some time off."

She's been working nearly nonstop since 2005 and says that she needs to tend to some relationships. She also, as discussed earlier in this blog, has recently revealed that she's pregnant.

In addition to "Leap Year," Adams has recently wrapped production on "The Fighter," in which she stars opposite Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale.

Amy Adams's representative has confirmed that the "Enchanted" actress is pregnant with her first child with her long-time boyfriend and fiance Darren Legallo.

The pregnancy is a surprise, but the couple has always expected to have a family. Adams and Legallo met during an acting class in 2001.

Adams's next movie, "Leap Year," is due out January 8.

Amy Adams is set to star in "Townhouse" opposite "The Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis. The movie is base on the book by Tish Cohen.

Adams will play a "friendly call girl," while Galifianakis is an agoraphobic man whose life alters dramatically when his financial situation changes.

Adams is currently working on "The Ten Best Days of My Life" and "Daughter of the Queen of Sheba," and as wrapped "Leap Year" and "The Fighter."
