Gina Wilhelm Actress - German Actress Award Given to Winslet
Kate Winslet received the best international actress award at this year's Bambi Awards in Germany. She won the award for her work in "The Reader."
In that movie she plays a woman with a secret Nazi past.
The Bambi Awards celebrate achievements in film, television, music, and sports. The panel said the actress "doesn't just slip into her roles but rather puts herself into the soul of her roles."
