Gina Wilhelm Actress - Remembering Older Actress Maggie Jones
Maggie Jones passed away this week at the age of 75. The "Coronation Street" star had been struggling since major surgery in October.
Jones played the sharp-tongued Blanche Hunt. The actress was known-and celebrated-for her comic delivery of withering one-liners.
William Roche, who played her son-in-law Ken Barlow on the long-running soap, remembered her fondly. "I don't think Maggie ever realised how much she was loved, not only by everyone on the show but by the millions of Blanche fans out there."
